We are happy!
Hello ALL! Sorry I made you wait so long for the outcome of my date with BC & all the lovely details of our first date... but I'm in a bit of a fog here of late! HEE!! HEE!! :o) We had a great time with my friends at dinner, then went to a movie alone! It was a good movie and it was nice to be in each other's company, alone for once! He held my hand during the movie and the whole ride home!
After our date, we sat in my driveway for an additional 45 mins and talked! YES TALKED! HE IS the perfect gentleman! He admitted he wants a relationship with someone, but is scared! I can empathize completely-we both suffered some of the same deep pain in our previous marriages! He said he really appreciates/values our friendship (as do I!! ), enjoys spending time with me, and thinks I'm beautiful-he is so complimentary! I told him we chould proceed with caution, and he agreed! It was almost 1:30 AM and I told him I should go inside. We hugged, and he kissed the corner of my mouth/cheek! I then kissed his cheek back, and said thank you for a WONDERFUL evening! We were all smiles. I talked to him Sunday evening for over 2 hrs! He makes me smile tremendously! He told me he had a book for me to read and wanted to bake something for me! He LOVES to cook! I was so excited! :o) I think it's so original, so sweet, so heartfelt.... he really made an effort and utilized his time to do something so nice for me! He baked me homemade bread and it IS YUMMY! K's teacher told me that I am so lucky and that I have the man that they all drool over & would love to have! I reminded her I don't have him yet!
Last night he called and we talked for a little over an hour! He even said he wanted me to come over and give him some decorating advice on his house-he thinks I have good taste! :o) His younger son Brady, and K's classmate, is even growing more fond of me-he used to run from me! HEE! HEE! Now he smiles and batts his big blue eyes! I have not had much contact with the older one, Taylor.
Today he text me and we talked briefly at the end of the day.. and he's supposed to call later! It's amazing that he calls when he says he will! He's so considerate, selfless, charming, funny, doting, attentive, and YUMMY to look at! :o)I wish I could post our pic from Saturday b/c we do look really cute together, if I do say so myself!
Everyone at K's school apparently knows about us-they are so excited. The assistant director told me today that she & the director watch us in the halls and outside their office window. She's seen us hug, smile, chat and thinks we look so happy together. Together? I'm not sure how you'd define us, but we are taking things progressively slow and we really enjoy each other's company! AND YES.. We are happy!!
